The fact of the matter is that there are accounts of Nintendo repeatedly lying to the Smash community, and other companies, to prevent sponsorships and other large scale events designed to helpįurther Smash as an eSport. The issues is much greater than Nintendo shutting down the Big House. Given that Project M is also a mod of Super Smash Bros that we all love, it is sad to see these current events unfolding. ![]() Their reason for doing so is the tournament's usage of Slippi, which is a mod for Melee which allows online multiplayer with rollback. As many of you may have heard, Nintendo recently shut down the Big House tournament via a Cease and Desist order. ![]() While I wish I could come to you with some good news, that is simply not the case.
